President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov successfully completed his working visit to Kazan, where he participated in the 16th BRICS Summit. During the visit, he met with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, who ceremoniously awarded him the Order of Duslyk for his contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation. This was reported by the "Vatan" news program of Turkmen television.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also held a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres to discuss prospects for further cooperation. On the second day of the visit, the President of Turkmenistan spoke at the plenary session of the BRICS Summit in the "Outreach/BRICS Plus" format, putting forward several initiatives.

After the visit, the plane of the President of Turkmenistan landed at Ashgabat International Airport, where he was met by officials and government members, congratulating him on the successful completion of the trip.
