Turkish Airlines plans to provide free unlimited Wi-Fi on all flights

Written on

Turkish Airlines, known for its extensive route network, has announced an ambitious plan to introduce free unlimited Wi-Fi on all its flights. It is expected that this service will be available to all passengers by the end of 2025.

According to the company's statement, over the next two years, a large-scale modernization of the entire fleet will be carried out using the latest in-flight communication technologies (IFC). This will ensure that passengers have an uninterrupted and high-speed Internet connection throughout the flight.

To implement this project, Turkish Airlines is actively negotiating with local and international IFC technology suppliers. Special attention is paid to the support of Turkish companies in developing solutions for this service. As part of this initiative, the airline has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TCI Aircraft Interiors and Turksat, which underlines the desire to use national potential in the development of the aviation industry.

Turkish Airlines representatives noted that the introduction of free Wi-Fi on all flights is part of a strategy to improve the quality of service and meet the growing digital needs of passengers during travel.

This initiative will not only increase passenger comfort, but also strengthen the position of Turkish Airlines as one of the world's leading air carriers, constantly introducing innovative technologies to improve the quality of service.
