A new media platform that will allow information exchange between the Caspian countries will be presented at the Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan, which will be held on August 16 and 17. This was announced by the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin during a press conference at TASS.
“We are preparing a presentation and plan to launch a major project that we have formed. This is a new media platform that will affect coverage in the information space in all Caspian states. A lot of work has been done, we have received the opinion of the professional community, connected professionals in the field of forming such platforms, and we will launch it at the media forum,” Babushkin said.
This year, delegations from Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from Belarus and Uzbekistan are planned to take part in the event. The Caspian Seasons festival will be opened as part of the forum, and the results of the international journalism competition “The Caspian Without Borders” will be summed up.
