On June 24, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and hakimov velayats, at which the progress of seasonal field work in the country was reviewed.
The heads of the regional administrations reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the velayats and on the situation on the construction sites of social and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev summed up the reports of the hakims.
As noted, the grain harvest continues at an intensive pace. The relevant work is underway to collect the grown wheat without losses and its uninterrupted transportation to the receiving points, as well as timely settlement with producers of products for the harvest handed over to the state. Currently, grain growers have delivered over 1 million tons of wheat to Harman of the Motherland.
Row-to-row processing, weeding and thinning, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation are carried out in the cotton fields of the country.
In the agricultural areas of the velayats, the care of crops of other crops, harvesting of the grown crop and provision of markets with these products continues in a coordinated manner.
In the Dashoguz Velayat, crops are being cared for in rice fields, and in the Lebap Velayat, rice is being sown at the final stage.
In the country's forests, pastures and cultivated fields, the necessary measures are being taken to prevent fires that may occur due to an increase in air temperature.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the agricultural sector has an important role to play in strengthening food abundance in the country and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under control the collection in a short time and without loss of the wheat harvest grown by the dedicated work of grain growers, as well as strict compliance with agricultural standards when caring for cotton.
Addressing the participants of the workshop, the head of state noted that it is important to ensure a high organizational level of the grain harvest in full swing, and now prepare for the laying of the harvest of other crops for next year, giving a number of instructions in this regard.
