The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the new city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of the second stage of construction and held a working meeting with the relevant leaders, TDH reports.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the project of the Artistic Carpet-making Enterprise. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of preserving carpet weaving traditions and creating modern conditions for female workers. He suggested equipping the factory with interactive devices with information about the history of Turkmen carpets and introducing modern design developments.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people also inspected the project of the new park, making adjustments to its design. He proposed to erect statues of famous Akhal-Teke horses, emphasizing their importance as a national treasure on a par with Turkmen Alabai and Arvan camels.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of compliance of all projects with international standards and environmental requirements. He called for the use of innovative technologies and taking into account the climatic features of the region during construction.

At the end of the visit, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty held a working meeting with the participation of Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and hakim of the city of Arkadag G.Mammadova, at which issues of further development of the city of Arkadag and preparations for the celebration of the anniversary of its opening were discussed. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to create comfortable conditions for the life, work and recreation of citizens.
