On May 9, the Consulates of Russia and Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan held a flower-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame Memorial in the seaside city of Turkmenbashi.

According to the website of the Russian Embassy, the ceremony of laying was attended by the head of the consular post of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan in the city of Turkmenbashi A.M.Korzhov and Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan J.G.Zhumbergenov.

Then the diplomats paid tribute to the fallen defenders at the military memorial at the Russian City Cemetery.
