Belarus intends to create a national operating system, its own web browser and a set of office programs. This is provided for in the plan to ensure the country's digital sovereignty, said Konstantin Shulgan, Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic.

For this purpose, cooperation with IT developers of Belarus will be established.

According to the minister, the development of Belarusian software is an important task, the solution of which will ensure independence from imports.
