European Culture Days have kicked off in Ashgabat. Residents and visitors to the Turkmen capital are invited to join this week's exciting events.
Today, November 18, at 19:00, the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater will host a concert of Maurice Ravel's "Bolero," performed by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan and Vladimir Mkrtumov under the direction of Rasul Klychev. Admission is open to the public. The concert is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great French composer Maurice Ravel.
On November 21 at 19:00, renowned Polish pianist Wojciech Waleczek will perform a concert with the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of Rasul Klychev. The evening's program will feature Frédéric Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1. Admission to the concert is open to the public.
