The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Kurbanov and Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Reinhold Lopatka.

The sides noted with satisfaction the growing dynamics of cooperation in such key areas as energy security, transport connectivity and environmental safety, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

Turkmenistan's effective contacts with OSCE institutions such as the Parliamentary Assembly, the Office of the High Commissioner for National Minorities, the Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights and others have noticeably intensified.

The parties discussed the main directions and prospects of cooperation between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, expressing their intention to continue the positive practice of jointly holding thematic seminars and conferences.
