Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, received the credentials of the new Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Niyaz Chardaklija. The ceremony took place on the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, reports TDH.
During the meeting, the diplomat conveyed greetings to the head of Turkmenistan from the leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed best wishes to the Turkmen people. The ambassador was briefed on the key directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, which is based on the principles of positive neutrality and equal international cooperation.
Special attention during the conversation was given to the socio-economic programs implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, aimed at modernizing the national economy and improving the living standards of the population.
Niyaz Chardaklija noted the significant potential for expanding bilateral cooperation, especially in the trade-economic and humanitarian-cultural spheres. The diplomat assured that he would make every effort to strengthen relations between the two countries.
