On November 14, a two-day international conference began in Ashgabat, bringing together leading specialists in the field of telecommunications. The large-scale event is attended by about 250 delegates from 27 countries, including 40 speakers.

The conference was opened by the General Director of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mammetkhan Chakyyev, who welcomed the forum participants on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

During the plenary session, the Chairman of the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency, Hajymurat Hudayguliyev, delivered a report. The conference program also includes speeches by heads of major foreign telecommunications companies.

The event, which will last until November 15, will become an important platform for exchanging experiences and discussing the prospects for the development of the communications sector in the region.
