In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan plays an important role as a transport and communication center of the Great Silk Road, laying international optical fiber communication lines across its territory. These projects, being an important branch of transit systems not only in the Central Asian region but also in the East-West, North-South directions, contribute to the development of the economies of neighboring countries.

Relying on the world's high technology and innovation practices, we are modernizing the national economy, achieving great success in the comprehensive development of the country. By improving the structure of digital technologies, the material-technical, and legal base in accordance with modern requirements, we are conducting fundamental scientific and technical reforms and implementing large-scale projects.

Currently, work is successfully being carried out to introduce innovative digital technologies and information communication equipment that meet international standards into the national telecommunications system. In this regard, significant investments are being made to create and modernize communication enterprises and institutions. Consistent work is being carried out to achieve a qualitatively new level of modern competitive communication services for the population. Great attention is also paid to the training of highly qualified specialists in this field.

Digitalizing all sectors of the national economy has become a priority direction of state policy. A clear testament to this is the "Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2019-2025," adopted to create a digital economy in the country.

Regulatory legal acts are being improved within the framework of the work carried out to implement the digital economy in Turkmenistan and fully launch the "Electronic Government" system. Measures to strengthen the legal framework for providing information and telecommunication services are ongoing. In the city of Arkadag, which represents a synthesis of the best traditions of national urban planning and modern trends in architecture and design, advanced digital, information-communication, and "green" technologies are widely implemented.

By actively implementing the "Open Doors" policy, Turkmenistan, together with partner countries, actively participates in and contributes significantly to the revival of the Great Silk Road in a modern format, which once connected the cultures of the East and the West. Regional and global conferences and forums of significant importance are regularly held in our country at a high level.
