Two new power plants with a total capacity of 330 kV have been commissioned in Turkmenistan

In Turkmenistan, the launch of two new power plants took place: 'Etrek' with a capacity of 220 kV in the Balkan velayat and 'Bagyr' with a capacity of 110 kV in Ashgabat, reports TDH.

The power plants are equipped with modern equipment from leading global manufacturers. Special attention was paid to compliance with environmental requirements during construction, in line with the state policy of a responsible approach to environmental protection in the implementation of large energy projects.

During the opening ceremony, distinguished builders received gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
