I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex, solemnly celebrated in the year "The Treasury of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy" of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state!

Workers of the complex, like employees of other sectors of the national economy, make a significant contribution to the implementation of the reforms launched in Turkmenistan and its grand achievements.

Today, the construction and industrial sector is one of the priority segments of the national economy. Its key industries – industrial, construction, including road construction, chemical, and energy – are developing at an accelerated pace.

As noted by Hero-Arkadag, the industrial complex should be the flagship in the structure of the national economy, as it serves as the basis for the subsequent development of all its spheres. Guided by this, we are improving the national economy and investing in the sectors of the construction and industrial complex. These measures allow us to successfully solve many targeted tasks, namely: to build new modern enterprises and modernize existing ones, create capacities for the production of import-substituting goods and increase their export, introduce the digital economy into production, and establish production processes based on innovative technologies. All this is a factor in bringing our country into the ranks of industrially developed states of the planet.

Industry and construction production are a large segment of the economy: enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan provide construction work throughout the country and supply the population with high-quality building materials. At the same time, large specialized production facilities are being built in all corners of the country according to the adopted programs.

In the current year, 2024, the second phase of the Lebap and Baherden cement plants with an annual capacity of 1 million tons of cement each was launched. They significantly contribute to the further development of the domestic industrial sector and the increase of the state's economic potential.

Dear workers of the construction and industrial complex!

The electric power industry also plays a key role in the development of the national economy. Currently, measures are being taken to ensure reliable uninterrupted power supply to domestic consumers, diversify the supply of electricity to foreign countries, create new energy capacities, improve the technical condition of distribution networks, and unite the existing national power grid into a single ring.

The project of the power transmission line along the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route, which will increase the volumes and directions of the supply of domestic electricity abroad, is also being successfully implemented. At the same time, the material and technical base of the industry is being strengthened in accordance with the requirements of the time: modern technologies are being introduced into production, and the volume of electricity generation is consistently increasing.

In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the chemical industry has become one of the main segments of the country's economy. The state concern "Türkmenhimiýa" is consistently and effectively implementing measures to increase the production potential of specialized enterprises, introduce digital systems and advanced technologies into them, expand the range of products produced, and provide domestic consumers with agricultural fertilizers and gas chemical products.

The construction sector plays an important role in the implementation of large-scale programs for the socio-economic development of the country. The implementation of the first phase of the unique "smart" city of Arkadag in Central Asia and the construction of facilities for its second phase, as well as new buildings in the capital and all regions of the Motherland, fully testify to the growing economic potential of our state.

The material and technical base of the domestic road construction sector is also being consistently strengthened. The State Agency for the Management of Road Construction ensures the construction of local and state roads in accordance with international standards and the use of advanced technologies in this field. A clear example of this is the construction of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat highway with a length of 600 kilometers.
