Ashgabat is preparing to host an international business forum on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Visa (USA).

This was reported at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan by Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov, speaking about the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2021–2025.

The agenda of this forum, proposed to be held on November 27, will include issues of strategic partnership with Visa, as well as the development of advanced technologies and innovations in the international payment system.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in the process of implementing the digital economy in the country, great importance is attached to establishing interaction and exchanging experiences with international organizations and foreign states. Approving the proposal to hold an international business forum in the capital in November, the head of state instructed to ensure its high organizational level, reports TDH.
