Prime Minister of Japan Shigeru Ishiba announced plans to meet with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the World Expo 2025, which will be held in Osaka. "Turkmenistan is an important strategic partner for Japan in building a free and open international order based on the rule of law. It is gratifying that cooperation between our countries is deepening in various fields, including economic, scientific-technical, and cultural spheres. I also look forward to meeting with you during your visit to the World Expo 2025 Osaka next year," the message reads.
Ishiba also emphasized the importance of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue, which this year marked its 20th anniversary, as a platform for further strengthening bilateral relations.
