The President of Turkmenistan ordered to speed up the cotton harvest without losses

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and the heads of the country's regions, where he ordered to increase the pace of cotton harvesting. According to TDH, the meeting discussed issues of the agricultural sector and the implementation of the National Rural Program.

Efforts are being made to ensure the cotton harvest is collected without losses and delivered smoothly to reception points and cotton processing plants. Special attention is paid to maintaining the uninterrupted operation of agricultural and transportation equipment.

In the Dashoguz and Lebap regions, rice harvesting continues: all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the smooth delivery and proper storage of the harvested rice at reception points. The care of sugar beets in the fields of the Mary region has been completed, and harvesting has now begun.
