At the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the XXIX International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2024" (OGT-2024) has begun. The large-scale industry forum is organized by the state concerns "Türkmengaz," "Türkmennebit," and the state corporation "Türkmengeologiýa."

The opening ceremony gathered representatives of the government, heads of relevant departments, heads of diplomatic missions, international organizations, and leading oil and gas companies. The event began with performances by creative groups showcasing national dances and songs.

A key moment of the ceremony was the welcoming address by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which the head of state emphasized the importance of the forum for demonstrating the development strategy of Turkmenistan's fuel and energy complex and the implementation of modern technologies with consideration for environmental safety.

The exhibition provides a unique platform for foreign companies from the oil and gas, metallurgical, chemical, engineering, and energy sectors. Participants can not only showcase their products but also expand partnerships, contributing to the integration of Turkmenistan's fuel and energy complex into the global energy system.

The exposition covers all aspects of the industry: from exploration and production to transportation and storage of hydrocarbons. Special attention is given to maritime projects in the Caspian Sea and the development of renewable energy sources. Among the main participants of the exhibition are leading state companies of Turkmenistan and dozens of private enterprises operating in the country's fuel and energy complex.

It is also noted that in the afternoon, the International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024" will begin, where global trends in energy market development, cooperation opportunities, and attracting foreign investments for the development of new fields will be discussed.
