The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation, Esen Aydogdiyev, and the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Yevgeny Primakov, held a meeting at which they discussed the intensification of bilateral relations in the field of humanitarian cooperation. During the meeting, the parties noted the significant potential for further development of cooperation in the scientific, educational and cultural spheres. This is stated in a message on the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moscow.
Primakov highly appreciated the dynamic development of humanitarian ties between the two countries. Aydogdiyev, in turn, spoke about recent cultural events, such as the opening of the bust of Magtymguly Pyragy in Moscow and the international forum in Ashgabat dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker. The Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, which took place on October 16-17, were also mentioned.
The interlocutors expressed a mutual desire to continue cooperation, which is of mutual interest to scientific, educational and cultural institutions of the two countries. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
