The 6th World Media Summit in the city of Urumqi, the administrative center of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Northwest China, gathered over 500 representatives from 208 leading media outlets, government agencies, international organizations, and other institutions from 106 countries and regions around the world.

The event, themed 'Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation,' was organized by the Xinhua News Agency and the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Participants were introduced to Xinhua's technological achievements in the field of artificial intelligence.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the World Media Summit mechanism. Thanks to the efforts of media professionals worldwide, the summit has evolved into a high-level platform for global information exchange and coordination, earning wide international recognition.
