Putin arrives in Turkmenistan to participate in an international forum

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on a working visit to Turkmenistan, reports MIC.

In Ashgabat, the Russian leader will participate in the international forum 'Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development,' dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.

It is planned that the delegation, led by the Russian leader, will lay flowers at the monument to Pyragy. During the visit, negotiations with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian are also scheduled.

The last time the President of the Russian Federation was in Ashgabat was in June 2022, when he participated in the sixth Caspian Summit.

Earlier, the presidents of Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and Pakistan arrived in the Turkmen capital.
