On October 7, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived the day before on a working visit to the Russian Federation, is participating in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, held in Moscow.
As an associate member of the CIS in accordance with its neutral status, Turkmenistan takes an active position on the issues of developing fruitful cooperation within the Commonwealth, considering the significant potential available in various fields. Our country is united with the CIS states by traditional ties of friendship and good neighborliness, close historical and cultural connections, which serve as a solid foundation for expanding mutually beneficial partnerships and enriching their content.
During the narrow and expanded formats, with the participation of delegation members, the Summit participants will discuss current aspects of the regional and international agenda.
At the end of the Summit, a ceremony for signing the final documents is planned.
