A delegation from Turkmenistan has been invited to the upcoming meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), where key issues of ecology, the 'smart city' concept, and investments in medical and agricultural clusters will be discussed. Preparatory work has already begun according to a document signed by the President of Turkmenistan, reports TDH.
At a working meeting with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag, D. Orazov, reported that several areas of activity are planned to be discussed at the IMF meeting, including an investment program, a consultative system, and humanitarian support for the city of Arkadag.
The IMF is interested in investing in the new city, especially in its further development and the construction of industrial complexes, due to the high environmental friendliness of the urban environment and the use of advanced technologies.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of presenting information at the IMF meeting about the pace of work and the dynamics of reforms in the new city, which are being carried out based on modern practices and international standards.
