On September 26, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Ms. Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser, Chairman of the "CLAAS" Joint Stock Company (FRG), Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.

Thanking Mrs. Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser for congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the main state holiday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the results of the current visit would serve as a good foundation for establishing and further building mutually beneficial relations in new areas of mutual interest.
It was noted that Germany is one of the important partners of Turkmenistan in almost all spheres. Special emphasis was placed on the success of cooperation with the Eastern Committee of the German Economy to expand trade and economic ties, establish contacts between business circles, and stimulate investment activity. In continuation of the topic, successful interstate cooperation in industry, agriculture, the banking sector, and the transport and communications sector was emphasized.
As you know, a number of the largest German companies have been working effectively in the Turkmen market for many years. A good example of this is cooperation in the field of healthcare – the exchange of experience, the use of the latest German-made equipment in the country's medical institutions.
In this context, the readiness of the Turkmen side to consider specific proposals from partners from Germany aimed at further mutually beneficial cooperation was confirmed.
