President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, highly praised Germany's environmental policy during his speech at the second "Central Asia – Germany" summit in Astana, as reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

He emphasized the importance of cooperation with Germany on environmental and climate issues, noting the German government's commitment to working with regional countries. Berdimuhamedov highlighted Germany's active role in promoting environmental projects and programs in Central Asia and recalled the significance of the high-level "Green Central Asia" conference held in Berlin in 2020, where joint practical steps for implementing environmental measures were outlined.

The President of Turkmenistan called for continued dialogue on "green" topics, stressing the importance of further cooperation in the field of ecology and climate between Central Asian countries and Germany.
