During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Orazdurdiyeva reported on the upcoming international Olympiads and scientific and practical conferences to be held in higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
According to TDH, these events are timed to coincide with the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence and are aimed at expanding international cooperation in the field of science and education.
As part of the implementation of the "Strategy for International Cooperation of Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030", the Ministry of Education plans to hold a number of significant events. Among them:
October 16-17 — international competition of scientific and design works "Agroinnovations: a bright path of sustainable development" at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute;
November 1 — Open International Olympiad "International Financial Reporting Standards" at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance;
November 6 — International scientific and practical conference "Development of the agro-industrial complex" at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University;
November 13 — International scientific and practical conference "Prospects of innovative technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry" at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas;
November 15 — open international Internet Olympiad on the subject of Finance and November 29 - international scientific and practical conference "Sustainable Economic Growth: international experience and future development trends" at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management;
November 18-20 — International Olympiad on the subject of Philosophy and November 21-23 — International Olympiad on the subject of Economics at the International University of Humanities and Development;
November 20 — III International Olympiad on the subject of Biology at the Turkmen State Medical University named after Myrat Garriyev;
November 25-30 — The III International Olympiad on the subject of Chemistry at the Magtumguly Turkmen State University.
Representatives from Russia, China, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Germany, Belarus, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries will take part in these events. The winners will be awarded with medals and diplomas.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of these events for improving the education and training system, as well as for strengthening international relations and training highly qualified specialists.
