Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, was presented with new international awards awarded to the city of Arkadag. This was reported by the information program "Watan".

On September 4 of this year, Arcade City was one of the largest cities at the international exhibition "World Smart City Expo 2024", held in Yang City, Republic of Korea. The awards were presented to cities and companies that stood out among the exhibitors in various categories. It should be especially noted that the city of Arkadag was the first among the participants to receive these awards.

Arkadag was awarded the following three awards at the World Exhibition of Smart Cities:

Award for success in the field of Smart cities (Smart City Excellence Award);

Award to a foreign "smart" city (Foreign City Award);

Award for significant contribution to the international exhibition "World Smart City Expo 2024" (WSCE 2024 Contribution Award).

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the historical events witnessed by the Turkmen delegation during a working trip to the Republic of Korea. He also said that the Arkadag pavilion at the international exhibition aroused great interest among all participants.
