On August 27, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Turkmenistan, Mr. Fathudin Ali Mohamed.

On behalf of the head of the Turkmen state, the head of the national Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the responsible post.

Expressing gratitude for the kind words, Mr. Fathudin Ali Mohamed conveyed warm greetings from the top leadership of Somalia to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, addressing wishes of well-being and prosperity to the entire Turkmen people.

During the conversation, the ambassador was informed about the main directions of the domestic and foreign strategy of Turkmenistan, a special place in which is given to the comprehensive development of mutually beneficial cooperation with all interested states of the world.

The diplomat was also acquainted with the structure and activities of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the warm welcome, Mr. Fathudin Ali Mohamed noted that he considers it a great honor to be the Plenipotentiary Representative of Somalia in independent neutral Turkmenistan.
