On August 27, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Having cordially greeted each other, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction that friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are strengthening.
During the conversation, the current state and prospects for the development of interstate cooperation in the trade, economic and fuel and energy spheres were discussed. At the same time, the emphasis was placed on the importance of fully utilizing the transport and transit potential of the two countries.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that at present, the partnership between our states has reached a qualitatively new level. Taking the opportunity, Hero-Arkadag conveyed warm greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the Uzbek leader.
Having thanked for the kind words, the leader of the friendly country in turn conveyed his best wishes to the head of Turkmenistan.
During the telephone conversation, issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements and the possibility of implementing joint projects in the future were discussed.
At the end of the conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished each other good health, success in responsible activities, and prosperity and well-being to the fraternal peoples of the two friendly countries.
