Dear young people!
I sincerely congratulate you on participating in the final round of the competition among the Bahshi musicians "Çalsana, bagşy!", which takes place within the framework of the competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry"!
The era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state is marked by successes in the implementation of large-scale programs, grand achievements that radically change the face of independent neutral Turkmenistan.
Our sovereign Homeland puts forward initiatives aimed at the interests of all mankind. They find broad support from the international community and as a result increase the country's authority in the international arena.
Dear young Bahshi!
Significant progress is being made in the national culture, as in other spheres: the scale of measures taken to develop Turkmen culture, art and literature, replenish them with modern works, strengthen the material and technical base of specialized institutions is expanding.
The creative competition "Çalsana, bagşy!", which is held within the framework of the competition for the award of the President of Turkmenistan "Türkmeniń Altyn asyry", provides great opportunities for the development of national musical and song art, identification and stimulation of young Bahshi. It is noteworthy that the number of participants in this show is growing year by year.
Over the centuries, Turkmens have created many songs. The very desire for creativity, in particular, vocal and instrumental art, is inherent in everyone's nature. Therefore, our ancestors highly appreciated and revered the art of singing and music. All this is written in the informative work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people "Bahshi – harbingers of national happiness".
As the Hero Arkadag notes, in the soul of the Turkmen there is boundless reverence for the musical and song art and inexhaustible love for it. Singing and music have become an attribute of folk festivals. They are based on the harmony of the sounds of dutar, gijak and tuyduk, which can really delight and inspire everyone. And therefore, domestic performers at cultural events that take place both here and abroad, through delightful works, including instrumental ones, give listeners incomparable sensations, inspiring their hearts.
Dear Bahshi musicians!
We have the right to be proud of the luminaries of this art, who are alive in the national memory thanks to their unique works and have made a tremendous contribution to the development of national musical and song art. Among them are Muhy–bahshi, Oraz Sariyev, Geldi Ugurliyev, Tugur Berdiniyazov, Kichi Geldimyradov, Gichgeldi Amanov, Geldimammet Orazguliyev, Oraznepes Dovelnazarov, Dovletgeldi Okdirov, Oraz Begniyazov, Japar Hojanepesov, Baky Mashakov, Tuyli Otuzov, Sarman Hudayberdiyev, Gurban Seyitmammedov, Ryzaguly Atayev, Myrat-bahshi, Ovezmyrat-bahshi, Durdy Myradov, Gaygysyz Chariyev. Now, in the year "The Storehouse of the Mind of Magtumguly Pragy", marked by the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet of the East Magtumguly Pragy, the charming strings of the dutar sound a pathetic melody in honor of our beautiful happy era.
