Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Gurbanov took part in the ministerial session of the third Voice of the Global South summit, organized by the Government of the Republic of India in online format.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, more than 100 countries of the world took part in the summit. The participants were united by the common theme "Empowering the Global South for a sustainable future." The purpose of the summit is to develop concrete proposals for deepening mutually beneficial regional cooperation and solving urgent problems of developing countries.

In his speech, A. Gurbanov confirmed the position of Turkmenistan, which stands for constructive cooperation based on the principles of neutrality and peaceful coexistence. He noted that the country aims to further expand its partnership in the field of transport and energy.
