The "Balkan" Shipyard, the largest enterprise in the shipbuilding industry of Turkmenistan, continues to develop dynamically. Within the framework of the signed agreements with the South Korean company Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd. The shipyard is actively working on the construction of two modern dry cargo ships with a lifting capacity of 6,100 tons.
As it became known, the construction of ships is in full swing. The plant's specialists successfully implement all stages of the production process: from design and development of design documentation to assembly of hulls, installation of equipment and testing. Particular attention is paid to the quality of the work performed and compliance with international standards in shipbuilding.
90 highly qualified Turkmen engineers and workers work in the shipbuilding industry. Thanks to joint efforts, the plant not only fulfills orders for the construction of ships, but also actively participates in the training of personnel for the country's shipbuilding industry.
The construction of new dry cargo ships is not just another project, it is an important step in the development of the national economy of Turkmenistan. The new vessels will expand the country’s trade opportunities, strengthen Turkmenistan’s position in the international transport market and create new jobs.
