State concern “Turkmengaz” Mary oil and gas secondary vocational school announces admission to the number of students for the 2024/2025 academic year in the following specialties:

1. Development and operation of oil and gas fields.

2. Construction and operation of gas and oil pipelines and gas and oil storage facilities.

3. Development of oil and gas fields.

4. Maintenance and repair of equipment for processing chemicals, oil and gas in industrial enterprises.

5. Communication networks and communication systems.

6. Accounting.

7. Economics and planning.

8. Information systems.

9. Relay protection and automation of electric power systems.

10. Installation and technical operation of industrial equipment.

11. Mechanical engineering technology.

12. Installation and operation of internal water supply, air conditioning and heating systems.

13. Welding production.

14. Automated information processing and control systems.

15. Major repairs of oil and gas wells.

16. Measuring instruments and automation.

Citizens of Turkmenistan under 35 years of age with general secondary education are admitted to the Secondary Vocational School, based on the results of entrance examinations on a competitive basis.

Duration of study - 2.5 and 2 years, on a fee-paying basis.

Documents are accepted in Mary from July 15 to August 19, 2024.

List of documents:

- application addressed to the director in the established form;

- questionnaire in the established form;

- document on general secondary education (original);

- medical certificate in the form established by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan;

- a reference from the last place of study (work, military unit);

- a commitment to pay tuition fees on time according to the sample;

- eight photographs measuring 3x4 cm;

- a certified copy of the work record book for those employed;

- winners of the state school Olympiad, members of the national teams of Turkmenistan who participated in international Olympiads in general education subjects in the year of admission, who enjoy preferential rights to enroll in state institutions of secondary and higher vocational education subject to successful completion of entrance exams, submit the original of the relevant documents confirming these grounds.

In addition, applicants, along with the above documents, present and submit to the admissions committee copies of the following documents:

- passport;

- those who served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan - a military ID, and young men who have not completed military service, a registration certificate and a certificate from the military commissariat at their place of residence.

An applicant may submit other documents that confirm his/her preferential right to enrollment as a student.

The applicant is personally responsible for incorrectly provided information and documents.

Entrance examinations and enrollment are held at the Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational School of the State Concern "Turkmengas" (Mary) on August 22-23, 25 and 26, 2024.

Entrance examinations for all specialties are held in physics, mathematics, and history of Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations in subjects are held on the basis of the secondary school programs of Turkmenistan.

Entrance examinations are held orally in the state language.

Persons who fail to appear for the exam at the scheduled time without good reason or who fail the exam in one of the subjects are not allowed to take subsequent exams.

Preferential right for admission to the number of students based on the results of entrance examinations with the same number of points is enjoyed by:

- persons with at least 2 years of work experience in the chosen specialty;

- persons who have completed military service by conscription.
