The Ambassador mentioned with particular enthusiasm the annual bike ride dedicated to the International Bicycle Day, which is headed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Living conditions and safety

The Russian diplomat highly appreciated the living conditions in Turkmenistan. – Housing conditions are good, the supply of food and industrial goods is at the highest level, – he stressed. Volynkin particularly noted the high level of security in the country: – You can walk around Ashgabat quite calmly at any time of the day.

Foreign policy and neutrality

Speaking about Turkmenistan's foreign policy, the Ambassador stressed the importance of the country's permanent neutrality status, supported by the international community. At the same time, Turkmenistan is actively developing relations with Russia and other countries. "Turkmenistan is open to international and regional cooperation, building strategic partnerships,– Volynkin said.

Cultural diversity

The Ambassador noted the multinational nature of Turkmenistan, mentioning the presence of large Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani diasporas. – All diasporas live in peace. The language of interethnic communication here is Russian," he stressed.

Infrastructure development

Volynkin spoke with admiration about the development of the country's infrastructure. He paid special attention to Ashgabat, describing it as a "wonderful white marble city" with unique architecture. The Ambassador also spoke about the new "smart city" Arkadag, built using advanced technologies.

The diplomat shared his impressions of trips around the country, noting such sights as the Ancient Merv in the Mary Velayat and the Avaza resort area on the shores of the Caspian Sea.
