A meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place on the sidelines of the SCO+ forum in Astana, TDH reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation. Special attention was paid to its key areas, taking into account modern realities, existing potential and plans for the future.

It was noted that both countries successfully and effectively cooperate both in a bilateral format and within the framework of reputable international organizations, where they provide mutual support to each other. Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan demonstrate coincidence or similarity of positions on topical aspects of the regional and global agenda, which, first of all, concerns ensuring universal peace, security and sustainable development.
