Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to Turkmenistan, Ms. Tatiana Daniela Garcia Silva.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the head of the National Parliament congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a high diplomatic post and wished him success in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Ambassador was familiarized with the priorities of our country's domestic and foreign policy, the composition of the national Parliament and the ongoing work on legislative support for reforms implemented in various sectors. In this regard, in the future, the parties expressed their readiness to intensify inter-parliamentary relations within the framework of international parliamentary structures.

Speaking about the future of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Nicaragua, the Ambassador noted that her country is very interested in strengthening bilateral relations in all spheres.
