The national Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with issues related to the construction of production facilities and held a working meeting with the relevant leaders of the new city.

In the morning, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the work on setting up production facilities of the second stage of the city's construction.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov reported on the varieties of medicines and medical products that are planned to be produced at industrial facilities belonging to the medical cluster of the new city, local raw materials, the use of which is planned in their production.

The presented projects include varieties of medicines, cotton wool that meet high environmental requirements, disposable masks made of non-woven material widely used in the healthcare sector, bathrobes, bedding, shoe covers and other accessories necessary for hospitals.

Information was also provided here on the annual required amount of medical equipment and drugs to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, including medical institutions in the city of Arkadag.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that it is necessary to attach great importance to the quality and environmental component of equipment and drugs that will be manufactured in the production structures of the new city and in this direction it is necessary to effectively use world best practices, giving the relevant leaders a number of specific instructions on this matter, TDH reports.
