South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan next week, Yonhap news agency reported.
The six-day trip will begin on June 10 and will cover three Central Asian countries. The President will be accompanied by his wife, First Lady Kim Kong Hee.
The message from First Deputy National Security Adviser Kim Tae-hyo notes that Central Asia, the former cradle of the Silk Road, is a strategic region connecting Europe and Asia.
