On May 24, 2024, a seminar organized by employees of the Department of Economics and Planning on the role of maritime transport in the country's economy was held at the Maritime Secondary Vocational School in Turkmenbashi.

During the seminar, students were familiarized with the large-scale development of maritime transport, transportation of public goods carried out by the maritime industry, passenger transportation, development of ports and port points, improvement of state supervision over the safety of navigation, preservation of the environment of the Caspian Sea, as well as with the large-scale work carried out to strengthen the legislative framework, conducted under the leadership of the Hero Arkadaga, Arkadagly is the Hero of Serdar.

Along with this, the students were familiarized with the activities of the agency "Turkmendenizderyollary", its subordinate enterprises and joint-stock companies, and their contribution to the country's economy. The students were shown the high demand of our national products, taking into account hydrocarbon resources on world markets, the successful solution of the task of exporting these products to world markets, projects to increase the international competitiveness of our national merchant marine fleet, as well as projects being implemented to create national waterways that meet international standards and improve the seaport system.
