Delegates of the Parliament of Turkmenistan participated in the Dialogue of Central Asian Women in Bishkek

On May 23, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the first meeting of the Dialogue of Women of Central Asian Countries, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The meeting was devoted to the topic: "The role of women in the economies of Central Asian countries: leadership for the promotion of digital, social and environmental innovations," according to the website of the Mejlis.

During the meeting, speeches were heard, as well as discussions on topical issues on the agenda. Turkmen representatives highlighted the role of women in the development of sectors of the national economy, women's rights and life benefits.

The Central Asian Women's Dialogue is a regional platform for promoting gender equality and serves as a unique tool for expanding cooperation between the countries of the region.
