Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova held a meeting with the special representative of the Portuguese Foreign Ministry Pedro Motinho de Almeida, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.

The parties noted that Turkmenistan and Portugal demonstrate a common approach to solving global problems through multilateral mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of consolidating efforts and collective responsibility in the international arena. The partnership between the two countries on the platforms of influential international structures testifies to their desire to strengthen multilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the need to build up bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian interaction, taking into account the existing potential, was also emphasized.
