Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will take part in a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government in Ashgabat on May 24, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.

It is noted that during the meeting, topical issues of trade and economic cooperation in the CIS will be considered, as well as a number of draft documents in such areas as energy and transport, ecology, intellectual property protection, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

In particular, it is expected that the Concept of Cooperation of the CIS member states in the energy sector for the period up to 2035 and an Action Plan for optimizing infrastructure and developing international transport corridors passing through the territory of the CIS member states for the period up to 2030 will be approved.
