The proposal to create a new group of young horse breeders was put forward by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a working trip to the city of Arkadag and a meeting with young lovers of Ahal-Teke horses, TDH reports.

As the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan noted, it is encouraging that the younger generation is interested in the principles of national horse breeding, stressing that this group should be supported through the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

The proposal was met with enthusiasm. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave instructions to Batyr Rejepov, Vice-president of the International Association of Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding, to attract children to a new group. In addition, the head of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized that the necessary conditions should be created for the weekly training of children engaged in horse riding. In this regard, it was noted that the Foundation will provide consistent support to children in obtaining professions related to horse breeding.

In continuation of the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that many children who depict magnificent Ahal-Teke horses in their works participate in the drawing contest, “Biz --- Arkadag Serdarly Watanyň bagtyýar nesilleri” held with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. This indicates the enthusiasm of the younger generation for horses.

The Vice-president of the International Association of Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding stressed that Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's current visit to the Academy, as well as his valuable advice on managing horses and horse racing based on his own experience, raised the spirits of young people who are fond of horse riding.
