The XVI international scientific conference "The Turkmen horse and the world art of horse breeding" was held in the city of Arkadag at the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding.

The traditional forum has become one of the solemn events dedicated to the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse, celebrated annually in our country on the last Sunday of April as a sign of reverence for the incomparable beauty and agility of the Akhal-Teke people.

According to the general recognition of the conference participants, "heavenly" horses are a unique cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, who have made a great contribution to the treasury of universal human values.

Today, the vast experience accumulated over the centuries in the art of breeding and raising riding horses as fast as the wind is in great demand in the world, in all corners of which our Akhal-Teke people are known, loved and appreciated.

In many ways, this is the result of the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to further increase the elite livestock, spread and popularize this breed of horses abroad.

As noted, this phenomenal breed, whose cradle was the ancient fertile land of Akhala thousands of years ago, plays a huge role in the formation of the world horse breeding art.

It was emphasized in the speeches that the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov plays a decisive role in the revival of the world glory of Akhal-Teke horses, thanks to whose support horse breeding has found a worthy place in the life of the country.

Being a true connoisseur and connoisseur of the Akhal-Teke breed, a brilliant horseman and tireless popularizer of equestrian sports, the Arkadag Hero dedicated separate books to the "miracle horses", including "Akhal-Teke is our pride and glory", "Flight of heavenly Steeds", "The Swift stride of a steed", "Horse is a symbol of loyalty and happiness" and others . Translated into many languages, they became the property of the international community, playing a significant role in the rapid growth of interest in the Akhal-Teke breed in the world.

The International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding, established in 2010, is also an authoritative platform for professional dialogue between horse breeders from different countries, whose active activity has made it possible to draw universal attention to the phenomenon and importance of the Akhal-Teke breed as the brightest phenomenon of human civilization.
