President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated teachers, education workers, university students, and schoolchildren on the Day of Knowledge and Academic Youth, as well as on the start of the 2026–2027 academic year.

The congratulatory message reports that in honor of the holiday and the beginning of the academic year, grand opening ceremonies for the new buildings of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute in Ashgabat and the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in Turkmenabat will take place. Modern new schools and kindergartens will also open across the country's velayats, accompanied by scientific-practical conferences, sports competitions, and cultural events.

As noted in the address, first-grade schoolchildren stepping across the school threshold for the first time will be presented with "Bilimli" laptops.

Addressing the youth, the President urged them to study diligently and strive for high achievements in national and international subject olympiads, as well as in sports and creative festivals. The Head of State encouraged teachers and education personnel to systematically improve their professional qualifications, integrate modern scientific achievements and innovative teaching methods into the educational process, and prepare new textbooks and teaching aids.

The President wished educators, university students, and schoolchildren good health, well-being, and great success in their studies and work for the prosperity of Turkmenistan.
