Turkmenistan participated in the International Tourism Exhibition COEX Seoul International Travel Fair, held in Seoul from June 4 to 7, 2026, presenting its tourism opportunities, according to the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen tourism companies, including “Eşretli syýahat” and “Gadymy mirasa syýahat,” took part in the event, introducing international visitors to leisure, cultural, and educational tourism opportunities in the country. Special attention was given to Turkmenistan’s historical and cultural heritage, natural attractions, and prospects for the development of the tourism industry.

At the national stand of Turkmenistan, promotional and informational materials were displayed to promote the country as a promising destination for international tourism. Visitors to the exhibition were introduced to travel routes, services, and tourism offerings.

Recently, a delegation from Turkmenistan also took part in the international tourism summit “Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2026,” organized by the World Tourism Cities Federation in the capital of China, Beijing. The summit brought together representatives of government agencies, tourism organizations, and the expert community from dozens of countries. During the event, participants discussed current trends in the development of the global tourism industry.
