At the II International Olympiad in Computer Science, which was held in Ashgabat from April 15 to 19, students from Turkmenistan achieved impressive results, winning 43 medals, including 10 gold.

The Russian team took the second place with 17 awards, students from China took the third place with 10 awards. This is reported by the publication vestiabad with reference to MIR 24.

Students from 18 countries took part in this Olympiad, which was organized at the Jagshigelda Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.

The competition was held in two stages. In the first stage, the participants solved programming tasks, and in the second stage they developed comprehensive software in the field of cybersecurity.

An excursion to Nisu, which is famous for its archaeological sites and rich historical heritage, was organized for the participants of the Olympiad.
