A delegation of the State Corporation "Chinese Railways" headed by Director General Qian Ming visited the Turkmenbashi International Seaport on a working visit, the website of the Agency for Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan reports.

The visit was aimed at familiarizing with the possibilities and development of one of the country's key transport hubs.

The guests studied in detail the infrastructure of the port, its technical equipment and promising areas of development. Special attention was paid to the ferry terminal, the routes served and the potential for expanding ferry services.

Representatives of the Turkmenbashi port demonstrated to the delegation all the logistics capabilities of the complex. Following the visit, the parties expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation. Chinese colleagues highly appreciated the favorable geographical location of the port, its modern infrastructure and significant potential for further growth.
