A conference dedicated to the adoption of the UN General Assembly Resolution "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan" was held in Ashgabat. The event was attended by government representatives, diplomats, international organizations and the public, TDH reports.

The conference participants particularly noted the historical significance of the event - the third international confirmation of the country's neutral status. The resolution was adopted under the 61st item of the UN agenda "Peacebuilding and peacekeeping".

The conference participants emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to the principles of peaceful cooperation and good-neighborly relations. The country continues to promote initiatives aimed at strengthening international dialogue.
