Japanese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Sasaki Hiroshi visited Mary velayat from March 10 to 12.

As reported on the website of the Japanese diplomatic mission in Ashgabat, during his stay, the ambassador paid courtesy visits to the hyakim of the Mary velayat Begenchmyrat Orazov and the hyakim of the city of Mary Kakageldi Saryyev.

The parties exchanged views on the possibilities of regional cooperation.

Within the framework of his visit, the ambassador also visited the territory of the Ancient Merv historical and cultural reserve.
